イベント概要
オーストラリアへの留学をきっかけに、現地での就職、そして永住権取得へ。
今回のJAIT Career Eventでは、実際にオーストラリアで留学後、オーストラリアで就職を果たし永住権を取得してキャリアを築いてきたゲスト2名を迎え、その経験についてお話しいただきます。
前半では、CPAを取得し現在、一般上場企業に勤務するRisa Sasakiさんから、後半では、現在Big4に勤務している、Aoki Yukiさんから、オーストラリアに来たきっかけや留学生活、就職活動、現地でのキャリア形成、そして永住権取得までの道のりについてプレゼンテーションしていただきます。
最後には、会場およびオンライン参加者からのQ&Aも予定しています。
オーストラリアでこれからキャリアを築きたい方、留学後の進路を考えている方、長期的にオーストラリアで働くことを考えている方にとって、ご自身の今後のキャリアを考えるきっかけとなれば幸いです。

Event Overview
From studying in Australia to finding local employment and obtaining permanent residency.
For this JAIT Career Event, we welcome two guests who have studied in Australia, found employment, obtained permanent residency and built their careers here. They will share their first-hand experiences.
In the first session, Risa Sasaki, who holds a CPA qualification and currently works for a publicly listed company, will share her journey. In the second session, Aoki Yuki, who currently works at a Big4 firm, will share his experience. Their presentations will cover what brought them to Australia, student life, job searching, building a local career and the path to permanent residency.
A Q&A session for in-person and online attendees is also planned at the end.
We hope this event offers people who want to build a career in Australia, consider their path after study or work in Australia long term an opportunity to reflect on their future careers.
This event will be conducted in Japanese.
Speakers
Risa Sasaki
CPA Accountant | publicly listed company
Risa is in her 19th year of living in Australia. After a working holiday, she studied hospitality and commercial cookery in Brisbane. She worked in the hotel industry and obtained permanent residency after holding a regional work visa, before changing careers. Now in her 10th year as an accountant, she works as a CPA accountant for a publicly listed company.
Aoki Yuki
Currently working at a Big4 firm
Has worked on corporate valuations, M&A-related engagements and audit support for Japanese and Australian companies. He came to Australia about ten years ago on a working holiday visa and has recently obtained permanent residency. He plans to continue making Australia the base for his life and career.

Ayumi is a Web/Mobile Apps developer with a wealth of experience developing for startups and other innovative projects across Japan and Australia. He founded IT consulting company – sazae.com.au for small & middle size of businesses. He also founded the Japan Australia IT Group (JAIT) which has grown to over 350 members since humble beginnings in 2009. Worked and working several startups such SMS coupon, mobile payment, legal platform and eduction platform.
