Turn Your Experience in Australia into Your Next Career Step

Event Overview

When looking for work in Australia, what experience and skills do employers value? How can you turn your work experience in Japan, study abroad, or working holiday experience into your next job opportunity?

JAIT × Nippon Night welcomes Takeshi Kusumoto, Founder & Director of CAREER MEISTER, who has worked in Australia’s recruitment sector for more than 15 years. Drawing on his recruitment experience, he will discuss hiring Japanese and bilingual talent, differences between job seekers’ and employers’ expectations, and key points to consider when looking for work.

With insights into building local connections and working with recruitment agencies, this event offers an opportunity to consider practical preparation and actions you can take now towards finding a job or changing careers in Australia. Questions from both in-person and online participants are welcome.

Please note: This event will be held in Japanese.
